How ADS Began...

My husband and I moved to Hunterdon County when our daughter was one year old. I left a 9-to-5 job to stay at home to raise our daughter, but we needed some extra income to make ends meet.

While searching the local newspaper, I noticed housecleaning services were very much in demand in our neighborhood. I thought, “I have never cleaned anyone else’s house except my own, but this is something I could do very well! I am meticulous and I like physical work.”

So, I decided to give it a try and ADS was born.

ADS has been providing housecleaning services in our neighborhood and the communities surrounding Alexandria Township since 1998. We look to continue this relationship and to grow within the community to be the premier housecleaning service of choice!

Eco-Friendly Cleaning

We use eco-friendly products for a healthy home environment. We use double-filter HEPA vacuums, and the filters are changed regularly. HEPA is an acronym for "high-efficiency particulate air." Basically HEPA is a type of filter that can trap a large amount of very small particles that other vacuum cleaners would simply re- circulate back into the air of your home.

Additionally, we take precautions throughout our cleaning process to reduce possible allergens, dust, bacteria, pet dander and other pollutants. As an example, we use color-coded rags to avoid cross contamination during use as well as washing. Our goal is to deliver excellent service, and our success over the years has depended strictly on the satisfaction of our clients.

Green Cleaning

During past the decade it has been a challenge to find the right products to support "going green." Because of the industry "green washing" and claims by manufacturers, ADS remains committed to finding the best products before introducing new products to our clients. We rely heavily on the "Green Seal Certified" product endorsement.

Our cleaning technicians that have worked for other cleaning services provide positive feedback regarding the above practice. These cleaning technicians feel much better from a health standpoint working for ADS; they do not suffer headaches or other ailments as they did when using other "all-natural" products.
